Default Trolling motor tabs

Tabman,
My friend has a 19' TwinVee and wants to put on a transom trolling motor. Do you or know if they make one on a tab? I know they make one that mounts on top of the cavation plate but mostly for I/O's . Would one of these work on a single mounted tab? Or am I just loosing it.

MrRobalo,

You are not loosing your mind. You may know about the Lenco Troll n Tabs. They are set up with trolling motors on Trim Tabs. If you are looking at them you may want to ask others about them to get a feel for their "track record". While I have seen the motors you mention mounted on the Tabs I don't think they work well and I would consider seperate, transom mounted trolling motors.

Thanks Tom,
If Bennett dosn't make them I will 86 the idea.
I will look into the vertical assist transom mount system.
I think it is better than having one sticking out 3 feet.
I got a idea ...maybe I will instal a bow thruster in one of the sponsons? LOL
