Default Filling System

Thanks for the quick response and supplying me with the additional hydraulic line required to nstall my pump in the center consol of my Grady White Escape 209. The hose was in my hands less than three days after I asked you the question. Remarkable!!!!!!!!
The installlation was exceptionally clean and I am very pleased with the project. The finishing touch will be filling the unit with transmission fluid and testing the system. I attempted to fill the ubit by disconnecting the line from the sarboard trim tab cylinder putting it in the container of oil and pressing the corresponding bow up switch as included in the instruction manual. The oil was not pulled into the reservoir. Why did it not work?
I am now looking for a funnel to fill the system.

Quick question. Since the right hand switch operates the port (left hand) Tab and visa versa, are you sure you were poshing the correct switch? I have to ask that first

yes. I tried both switches. Is it possible my lines are too long for this fill method. They are about 17 feet long.

That might well do it! Try filling the HPU then running them. Let me know the results.
