Default Warranty

Hi Tabmam, First I want to say that my 120's changed my boat, their great. Last December, after a day of fishing I pulled my boat (I Trailer it) and saw that one of my tabs and actuators were missing. The actuator snapped off right below the screws. The plate that is affixed to the hull was in tact. I didn't hit or run over anything. I received replacement parts and a bill for 263.00. What gives? Why isn't it covered by the warranty?

Default Re: Warranty

Sorry to hear about your missing M120. The only part of our Trim Tab systems that are not under warranty are the trim planes themselves. Trim tabs when installed properly are not known to come off without something happening to them physically which sometimes can go unnoticed especially where electrolysis occurs. I can say this however: Even in theses types of circumstances a call to Bennett Marine explaining your situation is often the best way to get you back up and running ASAP.
