Bob,

Did you know that if you place your hand under the pump and push up it will slide out of its bracket? That way you can move it to a better location to fill. If that won't work for you, can you easily access the tubing where it connects to the pipe nipple inside the transom? If so you can remove the tube using a 1/2' wrench and put it in a container of ATF and run "Tabs up" to suck fluid into the system.

I hope this helps,

Tom

Hey tabman I have a Bimini Marine 24 center. looks like my fluid lvel is low, its just at the bottom of the markings. will this make the tabs move slower, Ibe read the manual for refilling but havent done this yet as the boat is new to me. How hard is this to do?

Yellowshark,

A very low fluid level may affect the speed, but it would have to be almost empty. Make sure you are checking the level when the Tabs are fully retracted. Also check and clean all the electrical connections (don't forget the black ground wire at the pump) as low voltage getting to the system can affect how fast it operates.
