Default Trim Tab and Motor Trim Adjustment

There have been some good threads on tab adjustment. However, I haven't seen anything on coordinating trim tab adjustment with outboard trim adjustment.

What comes first; tab or motor?

Default Re: Trim Tab and Motor Trim Adjustment

Rdrifter,

I like to trim the boat fore to aft with the Tabs first, then adjust the outboard power trim for best RPMs. Sometimes a little tweeking of the Tabs after adjusting the power trim is needed. But once you get the hang of it it will become second nature.

I hope this helps!

Tom
