Default Hello fellow boaters!

Hi everyone,

I am Scott Johnson from Half Moon Bay, CA. I am excited to join The Hull Truth as a new vendor and look forward to participating in some good discussions about boats, gear and fishing. Our product, the Stern Saver is a great new solution to the problems associated with drilling holes below the waterline of boats while mounting transducers. It can also be used as a mount for speed sensors, StructureScan, bait tank pumps, switches, fuel separators, and anything else you'd like to mount without putting damaging holes in your boat.

When I was thirteen years old I bought my first boat, a 12' Zodiac with a 20hp Merc, and have been hooked on boats ever since. Now I am the proud owner of two boats which are my prized possessions. One is a 1998 Boston Whaler Conquest 21 and the other is a 1986 Boston Whaler Montauk 17. Three years ago, when changing out transducers on my boats I could not stand the idea of having to drill new holes in my boat, so I set out to try to figure out how to bond StarBoard to a boat, really well. An idea popped into my head and the Stern Saver was born. The first ever, glue-on StarBoard transducer mount. The key to it's success was the incredibly strong mechanical bond that we achieved between StarBoard and fiberglass/aluminum hull materials.
