Bruins zero shots on goal in the 2nd period and win the game. That's the 1st time I've ever heard such a thing.

I'm hoping the Bruins make it until at least game 6 at home. I got tickets and would like to go.

I didn't get a chance to post before the games started. I did pretty well picking the winners last year. Here goes:

Washington/Toronto: Capitals in 4 games
Pittsburgh/Columbus: Penguins in 7 games
Montreal/New York: Canadiens in 7 games
Boston/Ottawa: Senators in 6 games

Chicago/Nashville: Blackhawks in 5 games
Calgary/Anaheim: Ducks in 6 games
Edmonton/San Jose: Sharks in 6 games
St Louis/Minnesota: Wild in 7 games

Hope I'm wrong but they're roster is hurting. Tuukka was outstanding last night, McAvoy looked pretty good for a 19 year old getting thrown into the fire.

I don't know what changes the Rangers made after game two, other than playing at home, but I like it.

Rask let in three goals from beyond the top of the face off circles. No way no how that should ever happen to an NHL goalie. Once again Rask proves he can lead a team no where. Wait for it, by game 5 there will be reports of Rask "nursing an injury".

They say some goalies do not show up for big games in the figurative sense, Rask literally does not show up and sits them out. Get him and his 7M salary out of Boston. Make him available to Las Vegas in the supplemental draft.

You may have a point on one that went under his armpit although he was screened by his own defense. They have much bigger problems than Rask. I'd replace Neely on down with exception of 6-8 players. They have very little talent,no depth,no grit. They've been running in the wrong direction since Ciarelli's days and Neely has no managerial skills.

watching Chara loft the puck into the stands was truly memorable. You never expect a seasoned veteran, the captain no less to do that !

That is what I expect from my teams

Rangers 2-1 win to even the series

Silence from the Bruins fans after that terrible penalty call.

Shock from Chicago fans

The other night the NHL playoff saw 4 sudden death overtimes in 4 playoff games. All four saw a team down at least two goals force overtime. The prohibited favorite and winners of the regular season (Washington Capitals) now trail 2-1 vs a team (Toronto Maple Leafs) who squeaked its way into playoff. The latest dynasty of hockey (Chicago Blackhawks) trail 3-0 to a team who managed the least points of any playoff team (Nashville Predators), at the same time the Bruins third team is somehow making it a competitive series with the Senators. The unpredictability of the outcomes separates this tournament from any other. The Boston Bruins reminded me of how great a spectacle the NHL playoffs truly is.

Depending on who you are rooting for it was

Rangers 3-2 in OT !!! Take 3-2 series lead !

The team with the nicest uniform and a 1 seed - Out in round 1 !!

Betting line: The Bruins opened as -112 favorites (bet $112 to win $100); the total is at five goals, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark. Line updates and matchup report. Why the Bruins Can Pay on the NHL Lines The Bruins were favored to win this series going into the postseason, even though they were the lower seed. Many still believe they are the better team. Every game of this series has been decided by just one goal, including the pair that Ottawa won in overtime by identical 4-3 scores. Boston had a goal disallowed in the second period of Game 4 on Wednesday for offside after Senators coach Guy Boucher challenged the play and won, and a questionable penalty in overtime of Game A win or play golf game for the Bruins tonight

And The Caps try to regain the series lead tonight

AHHH NHL playoffs
