Default Where to fish early November

OK, here is the deal. A buddy and I have 3 days to fish the first week in November. We would like to go offshore but will need an inshore option if the weather does no cooperate. Prefer little lattitudes, warm breezes and clear water. With this time parameter where do you go?

what exactly do you consider offshore? live or artificial? There are places on the east side of the lookout shoals that hold big kings during that time of year. depending upon how quickly the water temps change, you could have numerous other species in the baits as well.
Also, the dead tree hole off of shakelford banks holds nice sea mullet and spots (for a nice inshore alternative).

I should have gone into a bit more detail. Actually looking to go south, Fla, Bahamas, maybe Mexico. With a limited window going any further does not seem reasonable. Prefer to target tuna, billfish, bluewater species.

Try Venice, Lousiana. Yellowfin Tuna should be great, plus all the other rig fish available. Weather is typically nice, as long as you don't catch a late hurricane. You may even catch some on topwater poppers. 100 pounders are common. Airport at New Orleans is about an hour and a half from port. Check out www. rodnreel.com.
