That's gonna be a tough one, as most of the real guides will be at the Miami Boat Show that weekend.
The boat builders who sponsor them mandate their appearance.
The few captains available kill all sails (not preferred in my book), and generally have a really bad reputation amongst us "locals"
Can you do a different weekend?

I have fished with Bouncer on a couple occasions, he is an absolute wealth of knowledge and has been fishing south florida for a long time. You can really learn alot form him. Excellent captian!

Both of these captains are excellent.Bouncer has been a south florida captain for years.Dean Panos and I fish out of the same marina and we used to fish together on team SeaVee. All of us fish the same general areas and use the same tactics.Take a look at my website I think you will see that I run a first class opertaion.I provide a brand new Conch 27,custom made Biscayne rods, and Italian Everol reels. All this at what I consider to be a very fair price. Thanks for your time and who ever you go with have a great time.

I have to disagree with the fellow who said that most of the top captains will be at the boat show. It's actually the opposite. Most working captains will be away from the show with their customers. I'll try to set one day aside to hook up with sponsors but the bookings come first... I'm not a bluewater type anymore since I fell in love with the 'Glades, but the principles haven't changed.

By the way for those visiting the show there's some great night fishing for tarpon that time of year.

I'm sorry I did not book with you Lucky, but the real reason I booked with these captains is that they both use boats that I will probably be buying in the near future after the boat show

Try Capt mark Houghtailing

31 Contender, live bait kite fishing. No mate, so you handle the rods. Lots of fun!

Please don't apologize. That is the smart thing to do.Spend two days on those boats and see how they fish. Although, I have a feeling that you are going to like SeaVee if money is not the only factor. And although I fished for team SeaVee I own a Conch 27 so I am giving you an unbiased opinion.Enjoy the experiance.

If the captains are busy at the show, sometimes you can hire their mate. Some mates are very good, but then you may need a good boat.
