Any Marco Island fishing suggestions????

I just moved my boat down to Marco last week and was hoping to learn a bit more about fishing in this area. Im use to fishing on the the east coast so not very familiar with these waters. I have some reef locations but was just looking for some advice spots, bait or whatever. I hear something about some Navy towers that hold pretty much everything? I have a 23ft w/ 200hp. Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the hood. Start hanging out at the charter docks at MRM (jacks Lookout). Coffe in the AM 7-8 and beer thirty in the afternoon. Make friends and see what is going on as the seasons shift. You just missed the best red grouper summer i can remember but the Cobia are moving south and the gags are on the near shore wrecks. By hanging at the docks you can see what the boys are fishing with, what is hitting the fillet table and how their poles are rigged without even asking. I may go out this weekend. The marco Fishing Club is very active as well. They have a turnement this thursday / friday/ get ahold of big Pete and get on a boat.
