Default Tackle Storage and Organization Tips Needed...

I need some tackle storage and organization tips. For instance I have about 15 or so Large Marauder / Yo Zuri Lures. What the best way to keep these organized? Trolling lures? Premade swivel, leader, hook rigging? etc...

My method:

Rigged lures in individual mesh-back lure bags

Un-rigged lures, hooks, swivels, etc. in Plano 3600 or 3700 trays (depending on size) separated by function and/or type of fishing

A few soft-sided tackle bags hold what you need for a particular trip

I don't catch much, but my tackle is very organized

Home Depot, Lowes and Michaels sells those plastic storage boxes. They are similar to the marine type, but less espensive.

I keep a Sterlite (?) cheapo plastic container inside my Contender console. Its almost the width of the console and about 24" wide and 24" deep. All rigs, rigged lures (stretch 30's, hoochies, spoons etc) go in 5 pocket roll up bags and go in the big container. Boone birds, planers and leader coils also go in the container. With the lid on the container I have a large surface area for storing other items in the console.

I keep a tackle bag on deck with terminal tackle, jigs and smaller stuff. In the leaning post I keep a multi spool leader holder that I keep filled with different weight flouro. I'd like to make some dividers inside the leaning post for lead and frequently used terminal gear. That way I dont have to dig in the tackle bag.

You can also make a lure bucket out of a 5gallon bucket with a lid. Cut notches around the edge of the bucket and hang the lures by their hooks. Put the lid on and they stay in place. In the bottom of the bucket you can keep trolling weights, planers etc.

Let's start with terminal tackle. Pictures of anyone's setup?

My fishing is different than yours, me being in the Northeast and doing a mix of inshore, offshore and Canyon fishing. My boat is a twin diesel express, which may be bigger and have more storage space too.
I have all my terminal tackle (swivels, hooks, crimps, beads, etc), inshore hooks with leaders, offshore Tuna chunking hooks with leaders, small diamond jigs (1-4 oz), leader material, and all my tools in a Cabela's bag that holds 5-3700 boxes. I have all my inshore sinkers (1-10 oz) each size in plastic 16 oz jars in a tackle bag. I have a Sharking bag that has pre-made hooks, 4, 8 & 12 oz flat sinkers, skirts and floats. I have a bag for Canyon chunking that has hooks with leaders (for Tuna and Swordfish), glowsticks, swordfish weights (3-10 oz eggs on 200lb mono). I then have three mesh NANTUCKET BOUND Marine Utility Totes 22" W X 15"H X 12" D that hold all my trolling rigs (1 for Striped Bass & Bluefish (umbrella rigs, tubes and Bunker spoons) and two for offshore (Tuna, Mahi - the larger lures (Kona Jets, Daisy Chains, etc) are in single lure bags, things like Tuna Feathers, Ilanders etc are in 4 pocket bags and my Ballyhoo heads are in 8 pocket units). And lastly I have a 40" NANTUCKET BOUND Spreader Bar Tote for my two dozen 30" & 36" spreader bars (each in its own bag).
Yes it is a lot of different bags (and they are each (except the totes) a different color and design so the crew can tell them apart, but it makes really easy to find items when you need them and I only take what is needed (although for most offshore trips everything but the Bass & Bluefish trolling gear ends up on the boat.
