Default Tred Barta

Just watched his new show where he moved out west. I really don't understand how you just leave fishing behind like that???

jdizzle, did he live in fla.before?i honestly think he has taken up hunting as priority one. i agree, its hard to believe he would just abandon that.maybe, with all the fishing hes done, hes getting tired of it.though with all his moneyand the tv show he can travel whereever and whenever he wants.heck,he probably owns several houses scattered all over the world.

He Lived in Southampton NY - fished out of Shinnecock. He made a deal with his new wife that he would move out there if they got married. Now owns a ranch in Eagle.. I suspect he will fish a reasonable amount, just not every weekend like he used to. I kind of miss his chatter on the radio in the canyons... I like Tred because he can't be bought.

Where did Tred move to? Eagle, Idaho? I didn't see this show. I know he was just in Oregon with some guys down there chasing Albacore tuna. That show is supposed to be coming up soon. Maybe he will be here in Washington chasing monster halibut and lingcod with me!

Sounds like he was purchased or at least owned, by the wife

Likely he was pwned by his last wife, and she took the kahones. He isn't wealthy from the show, he probably needed to go to where the new wife's payday is.

An irony of life. when married, he could never fish as much as he wanted. Divorced, he couldn't even afford bait. :O
