Default cold weather fishing gloves needed

it's starting to get to be that time of year again when my hands become frozen. I have been wearing the neoprene gloves but once my hands perspire in them they are almost useless. Any cold weather solutions besides moving south?

Bingo, I've also had a pair of wool mittens where the top would pull back so you could use your fingers.

some gloves with this feature have velcro attached to the back of the hand to keep the top of the glove secure when you fold it back. If you get cold, don't rub your runny nose with the velcro - OUCH. I've done that a bunch of times.

The thing about wool is it can keep you warm even if it gets wet.

Check out some of the Simms fishing gloves. I use them on the river for winter steelies. Love them.

Can you get them wet? I'll be Striper fishing all winter and my hands have a tendency to get wet which eliminates a lot of gloves.

I love my Black thunder gloves from Aqua Skins.
Even wet they are still warmer than a bare hand. Out of the wind they are fairly warm when wet
