Default Unbelievable Tuna, Sails, and Dorado...9/29

Last day for the east coast boys and man what a capper...Bruce and Don opted to go with Coco and Twiggy on the Brisa while i took the rest of the gang on Chappy One as Juan was booked already today...

I know it never gets old reading about how many massive tuna detonations happen behind the boat but frankly i am just about running out of anecdotes...

It is just absolutely gnarly out there...once again all day long we didn't go more than 15mins w/o something crashing a bait back there...i am really starting to feel a twang of sympathy for each and every skipjack or bullet tuna we bring aboard and plunk in the tuna tubes...it is a veritable death sentence and although i'm sure Ghandi would probably have something to say to the contrary...I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSELF!!! I NEED TO PUT THEM OUT THERE!!!!!

CRASH!!! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....SONOFA. ..HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!!!

The Brisa ended up with a brace of tunas from Corbetania as big or bigger than any we had today so they were happy as clams and handing out cuba libres as soon as i jumped aboard the boat back in mita...yes my friends...there is tremendous cause for celebration down here now...i just can't believe it gets any better than this...

Pecha on the super panga had tunas, sails, black marlin...Lora on the Bad Influence had some heavy losses today on the tunas but still saved the day with dorado's and sails...Juan, Manny, Miguez...shit...if there was a boat out there that didn't catch fish then they were trolling bare hooks 12 feet above the waterline...

The rock has an unbelievable amount of life around it right now...the look in Bruce and Don's eyes after today was skitzo...they are ruined forever as most of us continually are...

I have a day off finally tomorrow and although i need it badly i will be the first to admit i sure don't want to sit on the beach all day...i live for this kind of fishing and the next 39 hrs before i go fishing again are going to take some effort to get through...

Thanks to all the sponsors Pure Fishing (Berkley, Stren, 7-Strand etc.), Pelagic, Avet, Rogue, Braid, Barefoot, Hyabusa, and everyone else for putting equipment out there that performs unbelievably well in this kind of fishing...i cannot believe our equipment is still going strong...THANKS GUYS!!!!!!

Kick ass for me out there tomorrow boys...i'll see you on friday...
