Default Need fishing advice....

I have given many advice on charters in the Caribbean and Latin America, but now I need charter advice. We are going to Puerto Vallarta in May 2007. Ever year, a large group of our friends, meet up and vacation somewhere. This year its in Mexico. Any advice on charters to use or others to avoid, would be great. All I expect is good equipment and the desire to catch fish!

Bullshipper, this may be right up your alley. Hit me with the info!

Thanks,
Dan

Not much happening offshore in May except for Striped Marlin , jacks, perhaps the odd sail, dorado and tuna. Even inshore is fairly calm in the offseason, but you can check "hot bites fish reports" for the year round Mexico fish reports as I may be a little fuzzy.

Josh has a Capt named Lora on a 30' Grady. He will be about $900 a day, excellent inshore and offshore.

Josh at Ptime Time Advebtures usually gets $1200 offshore on the Grady and up to $2000 a day on his Cabo if he captains, which is worth it if you want a +200 lb yft of 500 lb marlin Sept-October.

Even the inshore Panga charges $600.

Capt Danny Osuna or his brothers are also very good on the Marla 1, 2 or Arca de Noe at $650 offshore and they have refurbished these older boats.

Rear Lube,

I only know the name by the nationally published articles that have featured him and the website Bull recommended. Good luck and try to take some really good closeups this time.

I have fished with Josh 10 days. Knows his chit and will provide a good time.

Plus with him you have the option of him picking you up in the marina in Vallarta or leave from his darsena in Punta Mita which is 17 miles to the rock, not 33.

The water will be like a pond in May.
