It will be close. Shimano's website says it holds 570yds of 50lb line.

Here is a link that compares some mono line diameters. It seems Momoi Hi Catch is about the average diameter. So you should be in the neighborhood of 550-600yds per spool.

1120yds is 560yds per reel, obviously. I think if you put 560yds on each spool you should be good to go with an appropriate amount of room left on the spool so it is not too full.

Or you could use something for backing which would give you some extra yardage then put the Momoi on top of that.

Good luck,
Kg

This is just food for thought If you put 300yds of 80 braid say jb hollow core then it took 300 yds of momoi to fill the spool you would be able to fill the spool twice and still have the insurance of 600yds of line on the spool and you wou only have to change 300 yds instead of the whole spool as the spectra is uv stable and rot resistant

well the hard part is measuring the 560 yards so i guess I will weigh the reel first put on half a pound of line then whatever is left goes on the second reel, using spectra for increased capacity sounds ok but I could not sleep at night knowing that there was a knot 300 yds down the line.

Thank you for your help

If your using a line winding machine, then counting the yards would be easy. Its going to be close though. Maybe ou should just buy a 5lb. spool, and save the rest for next season

Buy the 5lb spool and keep it on the boat. You should always have extra line on the boat or extra rigs to replace ones that are takin out of action.
