When I saw your name on the post as the author I checked it out, because of the chats we have had over the years, and the respect I have for your insights on reels.
I was rewarded with one of the best trip reports I have ever read.
Alaska is truly wonderful. I was there July 24 - 29. Didn't go halibut fishing this time and only caught two silver salmon (limit was 3). Oh well, maybe next time.

I fished Seward 5 years ago but with very different results!
