I AM PLANNING A TRIP TO HAWAII IN EARLY SEPTEMBER. ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ON GUIDES OR WHERE TO FISH?

Which island or islands are you visiting? The offshore fleet is on the Big Island out of Kona but there are many other options.

Do a google search of the Kona charter fleet if you plan on a sportfishing trip. There are a variety of boats and prices. Also plenty of species available from shore casting, bait/lures. Google Kona casting club to see what they catch.
