buyer beware taco clips

I purchased Taco outrigger rigging package. Premium doubles and found the release clips are worthless. The metal that holds the line has a variable bevel that will not support the clip being in the closed position. This is the case on three of the four clips. The other clip only works with a painful amount of manipulation. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CLIPS! The package cost was $100 to $160 depending on the vender. I purchased from River Marine and will talk to them. I will look at AFCO or RUPPS.

Ya, I looked at their premium package and thought it to be quite cheap looking so I built my own outrigger rigging. Used Tigress outrigger line, Tigress snubbers (double), cork balls, and Rupp outrigger clips.
