Default 12/0 Senator handle upgrade?

Where can I get a larger handle for my penn. The stock handle is just to small.

I fish a lot of Penn 12/0 here in the islands, we troll a lot of wire line set ups. Use a 14/0 handle and you will be amazed at the difference.

t-bar makes one that's ready to go, or....

you can save the arm from the old reel if it is the newer two position type, or order up a new two position 6/0 power handle. grind out the rivet, save the arm and toss the old grip and spindle. now get a new grip and spindle from the penn international, drill out a slightly larger hole to accomodate the spindle, and bolt on your new international grip and spindle onto the old 6/0 arm.

i've adapted an offset grip to this arm as well. the arms that you see, left to right, are the tld 20/30 II, the tld 20/25 single speed, the penn international 30, the penn international 50, and the 6/0 senator (that has been drilled out).

Alan ... dumb question, but here it goes ...

What degree tilt is on the aftermarket handles? "If" there was room to do so, i.e., clearance to the reel body, why couldn't one just bend the tip of the handle where the grip attaches to give it some ergonomic tilt?

t-bar has patented everything from 10 degrees to 20 degrees. avet is 9 degrees. so is mine. the spindle has to remain straight for the grip to rotate. that's why it can't be bent.
