january in jacksonville

I am going to be in Jacksonville this January (19-22) and was thinking about trying to get a little fishing in. Most likely would be fishing inshore/backwaters unless you guys recommend differently.
I have never been to Jax before and didn't know if you guys could tell me about what to expect?
Also, can anyone recommend a good guide in the area?

If its sunny and you get a high flood tide Jan can be good.

It also could be 40 and blowing like there is no tomorow.

if you can get the weather and want to spend the money get a charter to the gulf stream. January is the season for huge Wahoo.

If you want a backwater charter, shoot me a PM and I can put you touch with a guy I have chartered 3 times personally.
