Let me say this first, L J and I don't have children, BUT IF I DID AND HE SENT THAT BS TO MY HOUSE FOR MY CHILD, HE WOULD BE CRAPPING BARK FOR THE NEXT 3 MONTHS............... AND HE WOULD REMEMBER MY NAME FOR ETERNITY.......... How are they distributing this BS to the kids??????? If its in school, you need to be calling your school boards and voicing your concern before this gets out of hand.........

if humans didnt eat animals, we'd be vegetables.

If people never Hunted or Fished. And never ate meat, there would probley be more illnesses which would lead to the end of the world!

EAT MEAT

im not saying that you should just eat meat, but rather you should have a balance of meat and vegetables its what your body needs

What it means is that so called 'developed' societies don't have a need to hunt or fish any longer just to survive. Now we have idiots that think this is the norm in the rest of the world. I need not tell anyone who pays attention to the fundamental travails of the majority of the worlds population that just getting a glass of potable water, let alone an ounce of good protein, is a luxury in many parts of the world.

Don't give them an inch, get after any government agency that gives in to them, yell and scream at any school administrator that thinks PETA is harmless. Think of it as "Pest Control"... In Europe they've actually gotten lots of people to agree with them... England has now banned fox hunting, in Germany they're actually passing laws telling anglers how to handle their fish....

PETA isn't harmless, they're nuisances that need to be fought and exposed wherever they show up.

Oh yeah I feel real bad when I cut up a mullet or hook a live pin or pigfish on my hook and send it to the depths surrounding a production platform in the Gulf. It just pains me to send that poor poor little fishy to the depths where my quarry is lurking. If my bait actually reaches the bottom and is not picked off midway by triggerfish and those dammed blasted blue fish, I may catch and boat my the species I was targeting. Of that species, I only take my limit and consume the edible portion. If perhaps the trek to the surface was too much for the undersize target species and it is too worn out to make it back down, there is usually hungry ling, sharks, or other marauding palagic fish looking for a free meal. No waste no fuss....the trials of life.

About the kids being exposed to anti fishing literature, I wouldn't seriously worry about it. Honestly, we sportfishermen will expose our children, nephews in my case, to the proper ways of the league of extraordinary sportfishermen. The only kids that won't be exposed are the ones that have never been properly introduced to the sport or not at all. We can fight PETA on their own turf by introducing as many kids as possible to the sport and teaching them proper methods to extend the sport for generations to come. True there are the slob fishermen as there are slob hunters who regularly practice the dasterdly deeds such as wanton waste and ignorance of size limitations but those people can be suppressed and eliminated with calls to numbers such as 1-800-792-GAME (Operation Game Thief in Texas).

I figure the battle over fishing will wage on just like the war over the fur trade, animal testing, and the like but will never cause a major problem for the fishing industry...maybe just a minor bump in the road like the Hoover pig (armadillo) that I saw flattened in the road this morning. Oh wait, next thing PETA will be demanding fences along all roadways or special tunnels for animals to use to curtail their deaths.

PETA= Pathetic Egotistical Terroristic A**holes.

This was a quote from that stupid article: "Some fish gather information by eavesdropping on others, and some-such as a type of South African fish that lays eggs on leaves so that they can be carried to a safe place—even use tools."

What do these idiots smoke?

Hey Reelwork if you need any help on your shed, just go out and catch some

right now I'm mid-way through my junior year in high school- I am therefore in the age group that this comic was aimed at according to the PETA member in the video. here is my 16yr old spin on what I just saw:

My dad has taught me almost everything i know about fishing. We've spent many good days and nights on a boat, beach, wherever. He has worked his @ss off to buy a boat and everything else fishing involves, he puts a roof over my head and food on the table. If it werent for my dad I would not fish and I wouldnt be the same person i am today. my dad is my best friend and I look up to him-we have a relationship that not too many of my friends have with their dads. So all of a sudden some 95lb vegetarian faggot PETA member comes and tells me my dad is a killer??!! do you know how this makes me feel? Let this happen in real life some day...maybe this winter a PETA member will visit my school and hand me a copy of this "comic" Yea, my dad is a killer.....3 seconds later our friendly PETA animal rights activist would have no teeth left in his mouth. After he fell to the groud I'd get on top of him and pin his face to the classroom floor and politely ask him why my father is a ruthless murderer because he fishes. end rant. take care everyone....
