Default Re: Fin Nor Ahab reels

Odd response to my continuation of TTaxis experiences and how good I thought Fin Nors were and that the folks I KNOW that have had problems with them abused the drag and didn't take particularly good care of their equipment. Cost and good maintenance don't always go hand in hand. As a matter of fact , I didn't even read your post when I responded. Sorry you took offense.

Hi
Have two Fin-Nor reels. An AHAB Quest lite 3000 and 4000. Love those reels. Desperately searching for bails and line rollers for both reels. Does anyone have or are willing to part with these items/ Help would be greatly appreciated.....Jer

I have an original Ahab 16 and 12 in great shape if anyone is dying to have one of these reels. I also have a whole bunch of parts that I bought a few years back. PM me if you want one of these reels or if you need a specific part.

I have a pair of Ahab 16s and have been very pleased with them after replacing the cork drag washers with carbon fiber that I got from Alan Tani. They are a little on the heavy side .
