Default Ocean Master® OML-25-B Lever Drag Reel

Anybody own one of these, what comments do ya have good, bad. Looks like a Shimono TLD-25 copy to me. I saw them at the Bass Pro Shop in Orlando, when I went there looking at the TLDs. Looking for a setup for high speed trolling for Wahoo.

Thanks...
Chris

Down the road I think you'll be much happier with the TLD 25.

The real TLd's are priced so good these days I wouldnt chance buying a copy. I have heard they are not bad reels but are quite as nice as the shimano tlds

Thanks for the replies guys. I've always like the TLd's and will probably go this route, but was curios about the Bass Pro copy.

Thanks...
Chris

I have 4 TLD 25 reels. have fished the past 10 years for ocean fishing for several trips a year. have never had a problem, and have never taken apart any reel. Do wash them off with fresh water after every trip and spray with wd40

My question is: Who fixes BPS stuff when it breaks or needs parts? Who actually makes those reels? Can you get parts? I have a couple BPS reels and have never needed repair but say I do, where do I turn?

BPS claims they do, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

There's been talk that they are shimano reels, at least with some of the same parts....I wonder if a real, reel repair shop can work on them ?
