Tyrnos from Shimano

I'm considering purchasing a few of the Shimano Tyrnos' in a couple weeks, and I'm curious to see if anyone has used them, and how they compare to the TLD, the model which they are based upon. My first impression was, a TLD on steroids - solid aluminum construction, new handle, color, drag system, and gear ratio. 5:1 does sound high, and it might effect th biggest fish as being too much. Does anyone use this reel, and what are your opinions? I'm either going with a TLD-25, or a Tyrnos 30, and I'd like to know which is a better choice, (price difference of ~$50).
Alan Tani - Have you had a chance to open one of these up - any opinions?

Take a look at the Daiwa Saltist. IMHO a better reel at a better price.
