I have been down with 20-30 lb grouper at my sides like dogs waiting for a shot at a lobster. They hear that wrink-wrink-wrink of a lobster trying to get away and they crowd around. CRAZY!!

I've even had barracuda do the same thing. I flicked some shorts out of my net and they were eating them up like crazy. Never imagined that 'cudas like crawfish but they do.

Yeah, I know. Still doesn't mean it's a good idea

Its all what you are used to. Although I like Maine Lobster, I prefer Florida Lobster
(Crawfish) as I like the chewier texture. If I want claws I'll have some Stone crabs with my Crawfish.

Pretty much everything in the ocean likes lobster. We crush the heads use them as chum.

I found it on my local channel and got it saved for tonight! I did a search on my cable and it pooped right up. Come to find out, it's the channel I record all of my fishing shows on. Including Florida sportsman if that helps.

Okay I found it on channel 1157 although it is saying I need to pay $10 to subscribe to this channel. Not sure what that's about.

I love eastern NC. I almost bought property on the Outer Banks in the mid 80's. The best fishing in the US is off the Outer Banks. Its not as good as the Bahamas but its pretty dang good. Its amazing how the BFT changed the Outer Banks. It went from a sleepy 6 month fishing resort to a 12 month fishing bonanza.

Outer banks are really nice. I'm a little south closer to Cape Lookout. 60 plus miles of island not touched by man. Its pretty amazing. But I would trade it all for that beautiful water yall have. We have clear water like that, but it starts about five miles out.

Those pics of the fried lobster have me trying to find out when they come in season down in Islamorada

My grandfather owned a lobsterboat named LooLoo, named after my granny by the way. He kept it in Spanish Wells in the late 80's, but he moved it down to Gregory Town in the 80's. Me and my brother used to work on that boat every summer in the 80's...those were the best days of my life!!! He had a ton of casitas on the bank...the amount of lobsters and fish back then was insane!!! I saw some of the biggest muttons in my life hanging around those casitas!!!
