Default Giant Bluefin Tuna Fishing off PEI

Gentlemen,

A friend and I are considering booking a trip to Prince Edward Island in an attempt to catch*giant bluefin tuna.**We were planning on going at the end of August and into the beginning of September.* Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You will love PEI . . . great place and great people.

My last charter there was about 10 years ago . . . most charters are on down easters and not as luxurious as the big Carolina boats . . . but it was an enjoyable day.

i'd jump on 360tuna.com, dennis braid has been up there putting the hurt on those fish, rumors are 1000lbers on standup!

It's possible that this record could be broken (see pic below). There are Bluefins landed about every other season in Antigonish, Nova Scotia that dress out at a bit over 1300 pounds. These fish are larger than Ken Frasers world record caught out of Canso. 1,496 lbs.
And there are 1,000 pounders taken every year at PEI !!

Hello pmucciolo;

I have just joined this website. Iam a Bluefin Tuna Charter Capt. from North Lake, PEI.
Our website is under construction,so if you are interesed in a charter up here sent me an e-mail at brucebros.charters@hotmail.ca. we have been fishing Bluefin Tuna for many years and have 2 charter boats ready to go for the 2011 season.
