Default Myrtle Beach Charter Boats

I would appreciate any recommendations on Charter Boats in Myrtle Beach. Will be there the weekend after Memorial Day and would like to take the kids (ages 9-14) out for some fun fishing. Not to worried about "big" fish, but more excitment and fun for the kids. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Just below Myrtle Beach is Murrells Inlet. For bottom fishing (sea bass, grouper, snapper, etc) I use Capt. Kelly Glover on the 'HATTS OFF', a 41 ft Hatteras. He's very good and a very nice fellow. His number is 843-650-6177 or 843-651-7033.

If you don't mind driving about a half hour to the north to the Shallotte NC area I highly recommend Capt. Eddie O'Briant:

you might want to head over to murrells inlet, and rent a small john boat for the day you can have lots of fun fishing the jetties , flounder fluke trout, small blues are all possibilties. If you charter a boat your wasting your time with anything less than a gulfstream boat ,the offshore fishing is not that great unless you get close to the stream. If you rent a john boat its about 50 bucks for the day , and your inside protected waters. fish the left side of the jetties .
