Default Cape Cod Charter Fishing Info Needed

I will be in Cape Cod in July for a family vacation. I hear the striper fishing is good at the Cape. Is July a good time of year?

Any suggestions for good charter boats? I may have one other guest, so a battle wagon is not necessary.

Thanks!

July is a great time for stripers. Plenty of charters available. What's your preference, trolling or light tackle?

Lot's of options then. Monomoy or Brewster flats by boat or wading. The Elizabeth Islands are great by boat for tossing eels or plugs. Let me know if you want me to e-mail you some phone #s.

Mrpat,

"Cape Cod" covers a lot of territory including some islands. You might want to be more specific.

Try the Magellan charter boat out of Saquatucket, proven producer, either trolling offshore or has an inshore boat for light takle.

I would highly recommend them,
if you are looking for a house to rent if have the first two weeks of July still open at mine, 1/4 mile form beach and Saquatucket.

Sea Joy in Saquatucket is also a great boat that will definitely hook you up w/ plenty of action. 26 ft Fortier, plenty of room for the family, and a great captain. Runs trips out to Monomoy/Chatham, etc.

I can second the Sea Joy. Beautiful boat-26 ft Fortier-solid and safe. Also, Captain Pete is very friendly and he will put you on the fish. Good Luck!
