boating in sarasota florida area

Im planning on moveing to sarasota area and have many questions.I hear dock slips at marina are very expensive.Also where to fish in sarasota area?Please contact me at grumpy455@optonline.net any info would be appreciated.Thanks DOUG

If you think slips are expensive, wait till you see the price of land and houses on navigable water.

Lots of places to fish....Lots of talk about midnight pass reopening, but don't count on it...might not happen. Big pass is navigable but not maintained. Fair amount of Manatee Zones which will slow your trip to the gulf, depending on where you live.

But fantastic city to live in.......we been here for 1 1/2 years....love it.
