Where to look for live bait?

Bought a cast net last year, it's a small one 10 foot diameter. After alot of practice i can throw perfect circles, only one problem... I can't find anything to catch with it. Where are some good places to look for live bait. I live in LBI so if there are any guys from the area let me know. Thanks guys

Where do you usually fish? There oughta be shoals of mullet and peanut bunker schooling up right now. They are in the Manasquan. Look in the shallows adjacent to grassy banks during the falling tide.

We netted a nice bunch of finger-sized Mullet in Glimmer Glass Creek yesterday, on the high tide off Perrine Blvd. Look in the lagoons in that area, though I'm sure they're almost anywhere in the Manasquan-Barnegat Bay area!

I'm not sure about your exact location but very shortly there will be zillions of peanut bunker invading the backbays. All I have to do is just make a couple of throws off the end of my dock to load up. Most of the tide except low. Try lagoons, creeks, docks and bulkheads.
