Default Riggings-the little details

Got 2 questions for the experienced guys about little details on riggings.
1. I like to use 1/8 oz. jigheads for reds and trout but the hooks are too small. How do you buy 1/8 jigs with hooks the size of what comes on the 1/2 oz. jigs???
2. Anybody have a good tip on something to use on top of a Slip Float (like billy boy bobbers) to stop the float and keep the desired bait depth??? I don't like the knot thing that comes with the float for this purpose. Thx!

My buddy was unable to find jigs with smaller hooks so he started casting his own jigs . . . maybe you could do the same but with the larger hooks you want . . . Cabellas and Pro Bass sell molds to make jigs . . .

Sorry but no answer for your second question

i tie on a piece of string or a rubber band to stop the float at depth- don't use the knot

try here for jigs as well:
