Anyone know of a good bridge teaser reel? Our guide/booking agent stated it has never been this slow in the four years he has been doing this. He stated a red tide moved in the end of the week before and literally killed the bite. We had three boats chartered and the best we did was one to two sails a day and one blue. We even went and overnighted on the hump, an inactive volcano that rises from 6,000 to 3,000 below. No bites all night long. We did hook into a 200-250 blue at 6:30 the next morning, but he threw the hook after about 10 minutes. Well anyway the weather was great with temps in the 80's and 90's. ONe day we inshore fished and had fun catching roosterfish and grouper. |
