Default Oregon Inlet Tuna trip

I am heading to Oregon Inlet March 19-26 with family and friends. Unfortunately, only one of the guys going is a fisherman. We want to get offshore to put some early tuna in the freezer looking for one or two guys to split the bill with. I can set up charter once I get some interest. Should be a great time for early schoolies if the weather cooperates... Let me know if interested.

You can have a "makeup" charter set up. The first day you get there go to the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. You give the days you can go while your there and your cell phone number. They will put together a group of 4-6 fishermen and a boat. They do many trips a day that way. I was there for the first time last fall and did well on Yellowfin and Wahoo.

If you are going to use the make-up approach I suggest that you call them a few days before the days that you want to fish . . . it improves your chances of getting on a charter . . . I have used this approach and it worked relatively well . . . good luck and good fishing
