Default RI Stripers -Early Season lures??

I usally fish Fin-S lures on small Lead heads early in the season for schooly bass but I actually saw 2 fish yesturday follow the lure wihtout taking them and I was wondering if anyone has any good early season lures they use for light schooly bass. Also, Is there any good worm hatch lures>?

JP-
I've had pretty good success with the Fin -s on a lead head. Usually the white ones. I've also done well with a Deadly Dick's.
Good luck.

Small deadly dicks, small Yo-Zuri hydro magnums in the mackeral pattern, Yo-Zuri hydro poppers also have worked. Like the Yo-Zuri products especially the translucent products and the quality of the "eyes". Good luck.......
