Default trailer advice
Guys,
I just bought a 26 regulator and looking at trailers. The total weight of the boat with fuel is around 8,000 lbs. I'm looking at a 8,600 lbs trailer. Do I need to go with a 10,500 lbs or is the 8,600 good. I'm taking the boat from Jersey to the Keys.

Talk to Steve at east Coast trailers, his prices are smoking and he's a great guy to deal with. He sold me a tri-axle loadmaster for my Regulator, I couldn't be happier.

I would go bigger than 8,600# as I bet that boat with fuel and all the stuff you will carry on it will exceed 8,600#. Even if it does not I would want more than an 8% cushion. I would go with Loadmaster.
