Default Spoons? Spoons, just the spoon blank in Qty? Where to buy?

Looking for a source to purchase just the spoon blanks from in larger quantities. I don't need the whole assembly, just the spoon. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

What sort of Spoon are you talking about?
Fresh - Salt?

There's ~ 50 manufacturers listed in the Lures, Saltwater, Spoon category of Fishing Tackle Retailer Magazine!

Sometimes the way I fish, I'd me better off drinking tea or eating soup! Looking for saltwater spoons, but not the whole assembly. I just need the spoon itself without all the goodies that makes them $2 or more each at retail. I'm looking to buy in lots of 500 to 1000 at a time. By the way, where can I find a copy of that magazine you were talking about? Thanks! Shel

I found this place in Canada http://www.luremaking.com
With the exchange rate the prices seem really good. I am planing on geting some bucktail tying supplies from them after Christmas. They have an online catalog and a downloadable .pdf version. The closest thing to what you want (I think) is in their pdf catalog on pg 13 http://www.luremaking.com/catalogue/download_cat.htm

Atta boy Bolt, Order your supplies from Canada, save them bucks.

Then when you get ready to use the goodies run down to your local tackle store, buy a pack of naps and a coke , then let them tell you where to use your foreign goodies.

Poor fishing to you.

I agree that we should buy american and local when we can. BUT, You do not know all the circumstances so please do not judge me like that!
1) The local tackle shops do not have everything that I was looking for so I would have to order some of it anyway.
2) I have baught something from every local shop in town and have also said I would never return to most of them because of the service. I have been in all of the local places and only two treat me with any respect when they see I am only buying $20 worth of stuff and one is a national e-commerce company that has a retail store near me. If you are not spending several hundred dollars in the local shops they act like you should just go away- so I have. I would love to spend that much money every time I go to to the tackle shop, but unfortunately that is my yearly budget for fishing supplies.
3) I dont mind paying more for local but I dont think I should have to pay double. As I said before I have a tight budget, so that means I only get half as much stuff.
4) I dont think that $40 worth of stuff I ordered is really worth any one getting upset.
5) This is not meant to piss you off, but I was really offended because I try to keep as much money in the local community as I can. But I think I should be treated with respect and get a poduct worth what I am paying when I do.

Good day (I would never wish you or anyone else poor fishing)

Your local tackle store is not going to have 500 - 1,000 spoon blanks. Sounds like SHEL may be making/selling his/her own brand of spoon. A person doesnt need 500 - 1,000 spoon blanks .
It may be the start of a local tackle store near you.
Good luck.... I'll take a free sample

You might go to Cabelas catalogue. They have a number of pages of blank spoons that you might be interested in. Try cabelas.com. May not fit your needs, but sure have a lot of stuff.
