RFI Marco Island, FL Feb 20

Will be down on Marco Island Feb 18 thru the 20th, for a wedding on the 19th. Will have time to fish on the 18th and 20th. Looking for a rental boat for some inshore fishing. Found a 18 foot CC for $200 a day, would be happy with a Carolina skiff for half a day. Any suggestions on rentals, where to fish, what to fish for, and what to fish with would be helpful.

If you are only going to be here (marco) for a short time I would strongly suggest you use one of the local charter services
backwater fishing can be a real challenge as there is a lot of skinney water i live here winter's & still manage to get myself in the mud Tide tables must be watched carefully
Gulf bottom fishing is the most exciting but the weather will limit you on the available size rental boats. The most popular rental facility is marco river marina 239 394 2502 There are several charter guy's at this location. We have two boat's a 26 ft shamrock 260 express deisel for the gulf & a seaboss 180c/c
for the backwater's Both are fun
