Question monel vs stainless wire

I'm ready to spool up a couple of Penn 113's with wire. I'm getting two different opinions from two of my local tackle shops.

I realize that there is a big price difference.

I would like to understand the pros and cons between the two, besides the price.

Monel is softer, more pliable and less springy than stainless, and thus easier to use

The advantage with monel is weight. You will troll deeper with monel.
I have 60 pound and and an 80 pound monel outfits. With the heavier line I troll lures at five knots at 40 to 45 feet deep depending on the lure, the lighter outfit trolls 10 feet shallower. I can troll live bait deeper at a slower speed and this method is deadly for big grouper and amberjack.
I have no experience with stainless but monel is relatively easy to fish and work with.

Pay the extra for the monel you won't regret it for all the reasons above.
