i put my stadics through hell and they still keep ticking. yes theyre a little more money but i feel that they have a better drag than some of the other reels mentioned. if i had one complaint about them it would be that they are a little on the heavy side

I picked up a Penn slammer 360 with power pro off ebay and so far I am very happy. Will problably end up with another slammer or maybe a stradic

Spend the extra bucks and go with the Stradic 4000. Smooth drag, comfortable handle size, excellent line capacity, it will handle anything your likely to come across.

When talk is about spinning reel, I will point to Quantum reels. Look after Quantum Boca reels and you won't go wrong.

Braid or Mono? to give you a more precise suggestion.

I think it would be a good choice to go Boca PTs size 30 or 40, what size of braid do you plan to put on them?
