Default April fishing in SC

My son and I will be going to South Carolina around April 20. Which area would be better for reds/trout etc., Charleston or Georgetown? How might the fishing be? Anyone have any favorite charter captains/guides in either area? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If your looking for a charter around Gtown, look at sweat tea charters, Fred is a great fisherman. Calls the redfish his pets

Fished a couple of times in Charleston when I did not tow my boat down with Rich Harris of Reel Deal Charters. He does both inshore/nearshore and I think even some offshore as well now.

Great guy to fish with

There's a reason we call him the Fish Whisperer.
