Bimini Bahama's first trip! - The Hull Truth

So me an some buddy's are playing a trip to bimini around may 10th or a week or so. This is my first time going and was wondering if anyone knows how the weather an the fishing is that time of year down there.

2 weeks earlier or 2 weeks later and the mutton spawn will be on

April/may is usually the 2 windiest months

I dream of making this trip every year. Hopefully the ecomony will get a little better and I can make it in the next few years. Enjoy!!!

I'll be doing a couple Bahamas trips from Islamorada this summer, but was advised to wait until mid-June for the best weather windows...

Last year I spent 10 days in Bimini during that same exact time.. Weather was absolutely perfect.. It was extremely hot though.. Fishing was good.. Good chances of picking up Dolphin, tuna, and marlin.. Mutton spawn around that time as someone said.. You'll notice tons of boats lined up on the reef as dusk approaches.. Takes tons of chum as you'll find it comes in handy..
