reel storage question

putting away my offshore reels for the season .senators-with metal spools , tld 20s and 25s,they all have mono on them thats between 2 and 3 years old.some of these reels will probably not see the light of day till spring of 2011 due to a very busy 2010-work/school and family issues.they have been cleaned up,re-greased and are ready to be put up.ive backed off the drags,but wondering if i should strip the reels.any suggestions ? thanks

With the metal spools, since you will have to change that old line anyhow, I would strip them now to avoid potential corrosion issues.
