Default Birthday Rod And Reel

It was my brother John's Birthday this last week so the whole family pitched in to get him a new rod and reel combo. It is a Penn 320 LD wound with 50lb Power Pro and married up to a custom rod. The rod was made by Craig Freeman of Home
It is a graphite 30-60 lb cut to 5'8", 12" slick butt, nylon gimbal butt, heavy duty reel section, X flocked front grip and Alps guides. This is the first rod I have had Craig make for me and based on his craftmanship I am sure it will not be the last.
My brother has not fished much recently and he is just getting back into it. I hope he will get years of fun out of it and hopefully some Striper pullage on it soon. I just got him into Jet Ski Fishing.

Not a better gift out there. The bay/oceanfront striper should be on soon. Good luck with some pullage to both!
