Default Bronze Flush Mounted Rod Holders? With photo!

My boat has two of these, in a solid bronze finish, I'd like to mount some forward, near the center console..Has anybody come across where to find these?
Will a photo help?

I've seen those holders before....perhaps on a friend's 31 Bert??

Either way, what you have is a rod holder with the chrome plating buffed/stripped/worn off.

If you can find the holder, any plating shop can strip them. Although, I'd go the other way and get those re-plated.

Those are old-school rod holders. Ebay? Look great though. Wish more boats sported bronze instead of SS.

No, not quite. As you can see, all of the boat's original hardware is bronze, even the wear strip on the teak rub rails. (not as clean as it will be in the spring though.)

Orion, check out Hinkley, they still use some of the Silicon Bronze to re fit their Rhodes and other hulls. Or you might check here they either have them, can cast them or can locate them for you.

There is a place in Nokomis Florida called the Nautical Trader that is a boat/fishing consignment shop. He has a lot of old/unique stuff. Might be worth a call and emailing them a pic.
