Default How to fillet a walleye

This really applies to alot of different species of fish. I landed this nice 7+ pound walleye this morning at Lake Saltonstall in East Haven, CT. I made this instructional video on how to do the fillet. I hope this is a good instructional video for you. All footage was taken on my hatcam which allowed me to film hands free. Hope you enjoy!

Nice, I may try it for striper next time. Never did the outline part, might make it easier to get a clean edge to the fillets, esp. on fish with large/hard scales

Great video however you forgot to show how to "zip" the bones out of the center of the walleye filet.

I dearly love walleye and as a matter of fact will have some tonight
