Pair of Tiagra 130's

I was on a business call and stopped in a pawn shop. They had a pair of Shimano Tiagra 130's on gorgeous bent but rods with gold guides. Looked like they were spooled with 130lb test. These would be great for swordfishing.

Reels and rods were in a 9.8/10 condition. What should I offer?

see if the rods have a name on them had some stolen custom rods ( Big Valley)

Start LOW! Some pawn shops have very little knowledge of the cost of new high end equipment and they may take a small profit just to move them. If you start low they will either laugh at you or counter the offer. Either way....He is in bussiness to make money. Good luck.....You may get them at a great price. Remember....PAWN is 2 to one that the person that pawned them is not comming back to get them. The pawn shop owner dosent want those things. He is too busy selling stolen...I mean pawned property.
