thinking of heading to jeffries tommorow (sunday) hows the fishing bin lately

WINDS BECOMING NW 10 TO 15 KT BY MIDNIGHT...THEN
TURNING NE. SEAS 2 TO 4 FT. SHOWERS ENDING EARLY.

Went out last Friday. Didn't get all the way out due to
conditions, Ended up at the Cove, Prong, with 4-5 of the
party boats. We got more Haddock than Cod. The party
boats didn't seem to be doing that great. Go with
the clams for Haddock and Jigs if you're more interested
in the Cod. Good Luck.

yeah i know it could be a little rough if i cant get there i will stay in closer thanks for the report cj

I took a quick ride out past Spec Apron then to the 180 line about 6:15 am today. Not exactly a smooth ride.
The big boats are getting out there, but I'm not convinced its calm enough yet for any guests on my boat.

Good luck and don't forget to check the offshore weather one last time before you leave.

Yah dont buy the 2-4 forecast I heard 2-3 last night before hitting the sack at 10.30 and at 6.00 this a.m. turned Gurnet Point and was more like 4-8 I toughed it out and went but it werent pretty.

Went to Jeffrys on Sat. Lots of Haddock.

I didn't make it up to my favorite cod spots on northern Jeff's. What I got was what I heard before I went. Haddock are the predominant fish thus far.

Thats OK with me ! But not so good for the guys looking for that elusive 70 pounder.
