Fixed Gaff Line: Fiberglass HD Handle Stainless forged hook, double edged tapered reversed cutting point with a moulded barb. Can be ordered without barb.

Hook sizes for ease: 4", 6", 8" gapes

Flying or ringed hook straight Gaff available in 6" and 8".

Handle will by nylon cord wrapped in two positions and finished with two turks head knots for each handle.

Abalone wrap accents in 12 colors.

looks very nice. i like that there is an option to order it w/o the barb. any chance to get the gaff in a smaller hook size - like a 2" gap?

also - one thing to think about, with the turks head wrap on the bottom of the gaff, it can be difficult or impossible to get the gaff to sit in a standard size rod holder. I have run into this issue with the aftco fiberglass gaffs. the butt cap is too large to fit into a lee's medium size rodholder. it is kinda a pain, cause it is sometimes useful to set the gaff into a rodholder to have it ready when a fish is on the line instead of just leaning up somewhere or lieing on the deck.

> we addressed the rodholder issue with our other custom line of fiberglass gaff's. We build a regular fiberglass "J" hook gaff, basic pricing, similar to AFTCO. Also, a mid priced line with a the hook in the pic. The rodholder issue was handled using an internal ferrule that just becomes an extension of the handle butt diameter covered with a turk heads knot. The butt ferrule has a slot to lock into the rodholder.
