Herring this weekend?

Going to hit some local areas for Herring tonight. Anyone else? Heard of a few being caught but, Do ya think it's early. Cabin fever has about reached it's peak!

I had a wonderful meal at the Dixie Queen tonight. I got a DQ Special with two pieces of flounder, shrimp, oysters, fries, slaw, puppies, and a pitcher of tea. They also had herring so I got one as a side. What a treat. It was fried nice and crisp. I am full as a tick and can hardly move.

BBUNKER: This is my first year doing this.. How do you catch herring? Do you use a small hook and a worm, lure or do you net? I hear people talking about it and I'm going to need to learn how to do it very soon cause the stripers they are comming!!! Thanks!
